About Me

I’m Salerno RL Salerno Martinez, a Deaf birth worker and doula dedicated to barrier-free, community-rooted care. I bridge communication gaps by centering ASL and visual access, partnering with interpreters when needed, and making sure every voice in the room—especially yours—is heard.
My approach is calm, evidence-informed, and culturally affirming. I support Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and hearing families who value clarity, choice, and collaboration. From prenatal education and advocacy, to continuous labor support, to grounded postpartum care, I help you understand your options and make the decisions that fit your values. You deserve a birth space that is welcoming, accessible, and yours. I’m here to help you create it.

Placenta Salve/Lotion $25/jar
