Pelvic Floor, Physical Therapy & Massage

Body Care for Pregnancy & Postpartum

Your body does amazing work during pregnancy and birth. Pelvic floor therapists, physical therapists, and massage therapists who understand pregnancy can help you feel more comfortable, heal well, and move with confidence.

Deaf and hard of hearing families: you can ask any provider for a qualified ASL interpreter. Providers who sign are marked, and you can find them all on the ASL-Friendly Providers list.

Pelvic Floor Therapy

Help with the muscles that support your bladder, bowel, and uterus, including leaking, pressure, and pain, before and after birth.

Preparing for Birth

Learn to relax and coordinate your pelvic floor, and practice positions and breathing for pushing.

Back, Hips & Pelvis

Physical therapy can help with low back pain, sciatica, pubic bone (symphysis), hip, and tailbone pain.

Core & Cesarean Recovery

Guided rehab for abdominal separation (diastasis recti), scar care, and rebuilding strength after birth.

Prenatal & Postpartum Massage

Massage from a therapist trained in pregnancy may ease tension and swelling and give you time to rest.

Working With Your Care Team

These providers work alongside your midwife or OB. Tell them you are pregnant or postpartum, and check with your midwife if you are unsure.
